Accomodation
With stunning views of the famous St Lawrence River and a modern facility that adheres to Ministry of Health and Long Term Care (MOHLTC) guidelines, St. Lawrence Lodge offers residents the optimal home environment required at this stage in their life.
Health/Daily Living
A Registered Nurse, Registered Practical Nurses, and nursing attendant staff are on site 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The nursing department, in conjunction with dietary, activation, social work, and environmental service
Food and Nutrition
Meals are prepared on site and in strict accordance with both the Canadian Food Guide Standards and Long Term Care Standards. Food and Nutritional services are under the direction of the Lodge
Nursing and Medical Care
The Lodge provides for 24 hour access to medical care. Our Medical Director is currently available on site 3 mornings per week. Medical coverage can be by a resident’s own family physician if 24 hour coverage is provided.
Recreation/Leisure
A recreation and leisure program of organized activities is available to each resident. Held on each unit, the programs offered have been designed to stimulate sensory, physical, intellectual, and social abilities.
Physical Therapy
A Physical Therapy Service Program, contracted by the Lodge to a qualified vendor, is also available on site for our residents who require rehabilitation and mobility. The Activation Therapy staff work closely with the onsite
