Originally, opened in 1970, St. Lawrence Lodge is a Long-Term Care Home that provides care and support to 224 residents.
On the banks of our Nation’s famed St. Lawrence River, since its inception St. Lawrence Lodge has served the City of Brockville, the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, the towns of Prescott and Gananoque. In partnership with resident's families, our Home is resolutely committed to the physical, social, spiritual and emotional well-being of those who are in need of long-term care.
In 2003, following an in-depth operational plan study to evaluate compliance with Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care Design Standards, the St. Lawrence Lodge Committee of Management resolved to redevelop a new contemporary 13,829 square metre, $35.4-million long-term care facility just steps away from its original structure. The “new” St. Lawrence Lodge Long Term Care Home opened on April 10, 2006.
