The Auxiliary Volunteer Program (AVP) is composed of a dedicated group of volunteers. Their efforts in fundraising, special events, and monies raised from the Lodge Gift Shop help provide equipment, furnishings, and entertainment for our residents.
In addition to visitation time with our residents, the Auxiliary Volunteer Program sponsors various events, facilitates a series of activities, and provides assistance with Lodge programs. Events in past years have included concerts, craft and bake sales, teas and dinner parties, card parties, and raffles. The Auxiliary also operates the Lodge Shop that sells an assortment of items including snacks, refreshments, gift items, toiletries, and stationery. The Shop is open Sunday through Friday from 1:30 to 3:30 P.M.
A resident email program has also been developed by the Auxiliary and assistance is provided by residents that wish to use it. If you would like to participate in our resident email program you may contact the AVP office at 613-345-0255 #4140 and provide your email address. To contact a resident by email you can send your emails to firstname.lastname@example.org with the residents name as the subject of the email.
